The John Berends Implements Deep Tillage Plough is ideal for ripping hard ground prior to cultivation and for aerating pastures, therefore increasing water absorption and improving the profile of your soil. The John Berends Implements Deep Tillage Plough can be used to renovate pastures or for bed renovation, broadacre applications and row cropping. Eliminates soil compaction, reduces soil erosion, improves microbial activity around the root zone and increases water absorption and retention. Optional mulching blade assembly available.

• Heavy duty 100 x 100 x 9mm tine mounting frame.
• High tensile cast shank assembly with 24” (610mm) underframe clearance with 1” shear pin protection
• Replaceable points and shin guards – also available with tungsten tips
• Breakout force approximately 4000 ft.lbs.
• Tine spacing set at 12” (300mm)
• Approximately 15HP required per tine
• Available in 2, 3, 5, 7, 9 or 11 tine models with other sizes made on request
• 2 and 3 tine models are fitted on a single row frame
• Trailing units also available

Wide Range Of Options

• Crumbler rollers available, to help create a level surface and reduce crusting in the surface
• Coulters available, to reduce surface disturbance in pasture
• Adjustable Holden wheels available, for depth control

Optional Mulching Blade Assembly

• Used for weed cultivation. Generally set approximately 75mm below the ground to cut tap roots. The height is adjusted through the holes in the back of the shank.
